First Monster Mud of the Season

Actually she is our only "Monster Mud" creation this year. Still working on the snake she is holding before sealing her with DryLok paint and giving the "stone" some aging. Still have to make her other resin foot this week as well ...

Anyone else running behind besides us?!

  1. My goodness, she is BEAUTIFUL!!! Can't wait to see the finished product! I REALLY have to try this one year! Will you be doing a how-to for this prop? I'd love to peek behind the curtain on this one's creation!
I'm ALWAYS behind and doing things at the last minute. But, then again, I don't set everything up at once and my prize props don't go out till the night of Halloween, so that buys me a little time :)

    1. We're about the same Heidi, nothing gets put out until the day before but everything has to be done and ready for setup by then, Hopefully have this one done this weekend. Thanks for the compliment!

  2. That is just stunning Mark. We are doing ok for time this year, but we dont have the scope of projects on our plate that you do. The stress of the season is sometimes better than having nothing to do, for me it is always a part of it.

    1. Thanks OB! Yeah, I think your right as long as it's a little stress. We only have two new built props this year so we should be further along though.

  3. She's looking great, Mark! I wouldn't say I'm behind ... but I'm not as far along as I would like to be. I've also been asked to create a haunt for the office this year, too. So I'm going to turn a conference room into a haunted corn field. Or a complete failure. We'll see what happens!
